‘I’m Surprised Sully Didn’t Cash In’ ‘Keep Him’ Fans On Twitter React As West Ham Reportedly Turn Down £5m Bid

West Ham have rejected a £5m offer from IFK Norrkoping for winger Sead Haksabonovic, according to reports in Sweden.

The Montenegrin international has spent the last eighteen months on loan in Sweden but the Hammers are said to be keen on keeping the attacking midfielder, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Rangers.

Some fans on Twitter are surprised that the London club haven’t sold Haksabonovic for that price, while others don’t think he’ll get much of a look in under David Moyes if he does return to the London Stadium:

Haksabonovic generally plays as a left-winger, and with the likes of Felipe Anderson, Manuel Lanzini and Pablo Fornals in the squad, the Montenegrin would be well down the pecking order on his return to England.

At 20 years of age, he is certainly still one for the future, though, and his record in Sweden is pretty decent, having scored nine goals and laid on eight assists in 36 appearances for Norrkoping.
