West Ham may consider a move for Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay at the end of the season, according to reports.
The Hammers were linked with an approach for the Scottish international during the January transfer window, along with Everton, Leeds, Southampton and Leicester.
Newcastle have also been mentioned as possible suitors more recently and there is a growing possibility that Manchester United will sell McTominay this summer. However, West Ham fans on Twitter are very much split over whether he would be a good addition to the squad:

Typical Moyes player, meh. Hopefully Dismal will be long gone and we'll have other targets.

Not surprised, but will only happen if Moyes is still there. Hopefully he is not…

As some supporters have said, a lot would probably depend on manager David Moyes still being at the club and whether the Irons stay in the Premier League.
Some have suggested that McTominay could be a replacement for Declan Rice but the Scot’s main strengths lie further up the pitch. He doesn’t have the capabilities to hold the fort like the West Ham captain, but he could potentially be an upgrade on someone like Tomas Soucek.
