Highly Rated West Ham Starlet Tipped To Join Chelsea After Contract Expires

West Ham winger Amadou Diallo is expected to join Chelsea after running down his contract with the Hammers, according to ExWHUemployee.

The insider claims that the 19-year-old has already been training with the Blues at Cobham and it is likely that the switch across London will be made official soon.

Diallo is an England youth international but he hasn’t managed to make the step up to senior football so far, with manager David Moyes having not chosen to hand him his first-team debut.

The teenager did play a handful of games for West Ham’s Under 23s in Premier League 2 last campaign, but he didn’t feature regularly, while he made one appearance in the EFL Trophy, playing 45 minutes against Colchester’s senior team back in September,

Although he was highly rated by some at the academy, Diallo hasn’t kicked on as some would have hoped and that may be why the Irons have allowed him to make the move to Chelsea.
