‘He’s Going To Be A Star Player’ ‘Next Mark Noble?’ West Ham Fans Lavish Praise On U23 Ace After Latest Performance

West Ham midfielder Conor Coventry has been impressing for the Under 23s, and his latest display in the 2-1 win over Everton last night has got fans talking.

The 19-year-old has been a regular in Premier League 2 this season and was in good form as he helped the young Hammers secure victory against the league champions.

Supporters are excited by Coventry’s development and are expecting big things from him:

Coventry has already been given his senior debut when he came on for the second half in the 8-0 thrashing of Macclesfield Town in the Carabao Cup back in September.

Since then, he has been an unused substitute in four Premier League games and two FA Cup ties, indicating he is very much in the thoughts of manager Manuel Pellegrini.

The Republic of Ireland youth international could well be a long-term successor to Mark Noble alongside Declan Rice in the Hammers’ midfield if he continues his development.
