‘He’s A Joke’ ‘Sell Him In Jan’ ‘Would Surprise Me If He Starts Against Fulham’ Fans Slam West Ham Forward

It is fair to stay that West Ham forward Sebastien Haller did not make the impact some would have hoped against Liverpool on Saturday.

Replacing the injured Michail Antonio, the club’s record signing struggled to impose his game despite going up against a very inexperienced centre-back partnership of Nat Phillips and Joe Gomez.

Before the match, manager David Moyes had called on Haller to put in a performance, but the £45m recruit failed to register a shot before being replaced by Andriy Yarmolenko 15 minutes from the end of the game. Supporters on Twitter have been discussing the 26-year-old ahead of this weekend’s clash against Fulham:

There is no doubt that the Frenchman is low on confidence and that would have played a part in his poor performance but he was given the chance to impress and he failed to take it.

Whether Moyes will opt to start Jarrod Bowen or Yarmolenko through the middle at the London Stadium on Saturday, instead of Haller, we shall have to wait and see.
