West Ham right-back Jeremy Ngakia is reportedly interesting the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham after the 19-year-old turned down a contract extension with the Hammers.
The London club are still said to be locked in negotiations with the player’s agent ahead of the June 23rd deadline, but supporters on Twitter would not be happy if he leaves for Anfield next month:
He'll never play first team football again

he would go on to become a star at Liverpool under Klopp. Classic West Ham this would be

So if he does go there then it’s nothing to do with first team football that’s for sure!

Why would he go there ? Alexander Arnold best rb in the world@

Makes sense for them to take him as a free agent, never play him & then some mug (probably us) will pay £10-15m for him in 2yrs because he’s a Liverpool player. ?

No one dethrones TAA at this moment. Moving to Liverpool would be very unwise.

Move to Liverpool…loaned to Preston…sold to Rochdale for 300k
Career end.

Never getting ahead of Trent or the academy lad Neco Williams who has been there since the age of 8. He’s in an unbelievable position to be number 1 RB for us – take the contract offer, play first team football, get the added appearance bonuses and then get an improved deal.

What with TTA there ?
— Dean Pickering (@PickeringDean) June 16, 2020
Hes gunna go. But dont worry I'm sure our board have got a 37 year old free agent lined up as a replacement so theres no need to worry

It is believed that Ngakia is looking for more first-team football, and it is thought that he would reject the advances from Liverpool if they do follow up their initial approach.
With Trent Alexander-Arnold firmly established as the Premier League leaders’ first-choice right-back, it is clear that the West Ham defender would get very little game time.
If he were to make the switch to Merseyside, though, it would indicate that he is looking for a better contract rather than simply more minutes on the pitch as has been suggested.
