Harry Redknapp Delivers Optimistic Prediction On Where West Ham Could Finish This Season

Former West Ham and Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes the Hammers are in with a shout of breaking into the top six this campaign after making a good start to the Premier League season.

When asked if there are any teams that could edge out one of the ‘Big Six’, Redknapp mentioned both the Irons and Leicester City as possible candidates:

“The two teams I can see pushing to break into the top six this year, if anybody, is West Ham and Leicester. West Ham do look very decent this year. I think they are in for a good season.”

With West Ham having a very kind fixture list over the next two months, Manuel Pellegrini’s side do have a big chance of establishing themselves as major contenders for a top-six finish.

After an inauspicious start to the season, following a 5-0 defeat to Manchester City and a 1-1 draw versus Brighton, they have recovered pretty quickly to put back to back wins together against Watford and Norwich City.

The Hammers will be hoping to make it three wins in a row when they travel to the Midlands to face Aston Villa on Monday night.
