HammersHeadlines.com Gets Full Redesign With Awesome Added Functionality

We are delighted to introduce our freshly redesigned HammersHeadlines.com featuring a stunning, new look as well as some excellent new functionality for our loyal user-base to enjoy.

As you can see we are still providing our loyal user-base the very latest, breaking West Ham news but we are also providing a number of new features. We have retained the well-known formula which our users have enjoyed for the best part of 15 years, serving up the latest news from the best newspapers, major media websites, individual passionate Hammers fan bloggers and everything in between. With the new design we are still delivering breaking news to you in the clear and straight-forward way that has served our users so well as we are in our 14th year of operations but now along with the fresh redesign we have added more ways for you to consume and access news plus find content that is what you want to read and see.

On the new design there are new navigation menus which you can swipe from left to right. The first menu is located on the grey bar just beneath the logo. On the mobile site you can swipe from left to right to access all the categories and pages like the blog plus other pages like the Fixtures, Results & Table page, Latest Poll and then clicking on your choice.

On the mobile site this menu with all the options of the swipeable grey menu above is also available using the “hamburger” drop-down menu which is accessed by clicking on the 3 white lines to the right of the logo.

The superb new addition to HammersHeadlines.com is the News Menu which is situated just beneath the first advertisement you see at the top of the site. It looks like this:

BREAKING NEWS | TRENDING NEWS | MOST POPULAR | WEST HAM STREAMFOOTBALL TV

This menu is also swipeable from left to right on both mobile and desktop and features the option to view the latest Breaking News (updated every 2 minutes as always with the very latest news), Trending News (generated by the news articles most read over the past 2 hours), Most Popular (from the past 24 hours) and then we are really excited to present the innovative, award nominated service StreamFootball TV who we are delighted to be collaborating with. StreamFootball aggregates the latest video news about Man City and allows users to watch video clips about the club from numerous quality sources and indeed set reminders so that they don’t miss any upcoming broadcasts they would like to watch.

We have taken the time to address the “engine” of HammersHeadlines.com and as a result we have efficiently optimised the site so that page loading times are kept to a minimum.

You will also notice at the very top of the site just right of the site name, the words “SELECT TEAM”. When these words are clicked by a user, a drop down menu appears featuring the entire ScoopDragon Football News Network sites, all readily accessible with a click of your mouse or a little tap on your mobile phone, tablet or other device.

You can now very easily share the site itself or simply share individual articles themselves once you have read them by using the Facebook, Twitter, Email, WhatsApp and numerous other buttons to share the site or your chosen article to friends/colleagues/family/fellow fans.

Another great little addition is the blog preview widget which you will see as you scroll down the news headlines on the pages. This blog preview widget allows you to swipe from left to right and features the option to check out our own latest original content by tapping/clicking on your chosen story or by tapping/clicking on the “VIEW MORE POSTS” button which will take you straight to the main hub-page of our West Ham news blog.

We are also excited to offer the ability to listen to our posts using the innovative Speechkit service which will be available from today on all posts.

We hope you find the new design to your liking and we apologise in advance for any minor issues you may encounter when using HammersHeadlines.com as we may have the occasional “teething” glitches as we bed things in but we will be working to make the change to the fresh design as easy and as straight-forward as it can be.

Thanks for reading and using the ScoopDragon Football News Network and we hope you enjoy the newly improved HammersHeadlines.com
