Hammers Stars Team Up With World Snooker Champions For Epic Crazy Snooker Showdown

In a recent coming together of some of the greats from two sports, West Ham captain, midfielder Mark Noble and striker Marko Arnautovic teamed up with snooker legend and six-time World Champion Steve Davis in a game of “Crazy Snooker” against fellow Hammers players, midfielder Robert Snodgrass and striker Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez who were teamed up with another World Snooker Champion in John Parrott who was  widely viewed as a player who would have won many more Championships if were not for Davis’ dominance.

Davis is a true legend of the game having won an incredible 6 World Titles while of the modern era only Scottish great Stephen Hendry has more with a stunning 7 World Titles to his name. Parrott and Davis shared the table over numerous times across their career but it was usually Steve Davis who came out on top.

Once the concept was conceived the two “West Ham” teams got together at Romford Snooker club for the Betway “Crazy Snooker” tournament which is sort of like crazy golf combined with snooker and it was certainly an original challenge and left even the professionals struggling to find answers.

Some of the more interesting moments saw the reaction from Marko Arnautovic who remarked he could not believe what he was seeing. – “Is this tennis? What we play now?” after John Parrott revealed that you can hit the cue ball with the side of the cue not just the tip.

We won’t spoil the result for you but we can tell you that the 6 “hole” event went to a playoff where the winners were decided so check out the full video below.
