Hammers in talks with Swansea duo

West Ham are reportedly in talks with Swansea over a double deal for defender Alfie Mawson and goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.

The Hammers have been linked with a whole host of players this summer, having already completed the signing of Ryan Fredericks from Fulham on a free transfer.

It is believed that the Swans have already rejected more than one bid from West Ham for the duo, however it is likely that the player’s will leave and their likely destination will be West Ham.

West Ham are looking to bolster their defence this summer having conceded the joint-most goals in the Premier League last season (68), meaning Manuel Pellegrini has one hell of a task to try and solidify the team.

Mawson, who has two years remaining on his contract at the Liberty Stadium, made 44 appearances for the Swans last season – arguably performing as one of their best players.

Fabianski, who played in every Premier League game for Swansea last season, has just one year left on his current deal.
