‘GSB Better Dip Their Hands In Their Pockets’ ‘Please Stay’ West Ham Fans React To Latest ExWHUEmployee Update

West Ham are still trying to persuade right-back Jeremy Ngakia into staying at the club, according to insider ExWhuemployee.

Despite Hammers boss David Moyes having stated last week that he expects the 19-year-old to leave the London Stadium at the end of the month, the club still appear to be working behind the scenes.

Fans on Twitter want West Ham to offer Ngakia a contract which he will accept:

There is no doubt that both sides are partly to blame for this situation. While Ngakia should not be demanding high wages considering he has only played four times for the first team, the Irons shouldn’t have lowballed him either.

Offering an initial one-year extension to Ngakia’s scholarship hardly shows the defender that he is wanted by the club. West Ham have until June 23rd to agree a new deal or the player will leave when his current contract expires on June 30th.
