West Ham centre-back Angelo Ogbonna returned to training yesterday following a brief spell out of action with a groin injury.
Manager David Moyes confirmed at his press conference that the Italian international was unable to train earlier this week due to a small problem but it looks as though he will be ready to face Sheffield United tomorrow.
Ogbonna has been the Hammers’ best defender over the past couple of seasons and supporters on Twitter are very happy to see him fit ahead of the game at Bramall Lane on Sunday:

Antonio our most important player in attack, Rice midfield, The Og in defence. Can’t afford to lose any of them.

Issa Diop will be waiting in the wings if Ogbonna is not fit to start but the 32-year-old’s consistent performances have played a key role in West Ham conceding just ten goals in eight league games this season.
Ogbonna’s absence would have been keenly felt if he was unavailable to face the Blades but it looks like he is winning his fitness battle.
