West Ham are one of the clubs interested in signing Real Betis midfielder Victor Camarasa, according to reports.
The 24-year-old has returned to Spain following the end of his loan spell at Cardiff but is believed to be available for next season.
Fans on Twitter think Camarasa could well do a job for the Hammers if he were to be recruited by manager Manuel Pellegrini:
Good signing.

Yeah I’d be so happy with him tbh, an upgrade on Sanchez/Obiang

He’s a bit like Gomez who’s been at Everton isn’t he?

Considering that he could be available on loan once again, Camarasa would certainly be an economical way of strengthening the midfield without spending sizeable sums of money.
With West Ham working within a tight transfer budget, the Spaniard’s arrival could allow the club to ship out the likes of Pedro Obiang and use the money to strengthen other areas of the team.
As a player who can create as well as score goals, Camarasa would also provide a different option to those currently in the Hammers first team squad.
