Former Hammer says he wants West Ham return

Ex-West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison has hinted he wants a shock return to his former club.

Morrison was brought to West Ham by Sam Allardyce back in 2012, arriving with a reputation has one of the hottest young talents in English football.

However, things didn’t pan out as planned at Upton Park, with the youngster spending the majority of is three year spell out on-loan before leaving permanently for Lazio in 2015.

The story has been very much the same in Italy too, and Morrison now finds himself on-loan with Liga MX side Atlas Guadalajara.

Yet while he is enjoying his best form in a long-time – the 25-year-old has scored three times in 18 appearances for the Mexican outfit – it seems the former Hammer is already eyeing a move back to London.

The midfielder posted a video on his social media scoring an audacious chip in training for Atlas and it led to cult Hammers hero Carlton Cole sending him a reply, saying: “Bro time to come back to England.”

Morrison saw Cole’s reply and sent one back in kind, adding: “Bring me back to West Ham you have the power.”
