FIVE Soon To Be Free Agents Who Have Still Not Found Their Next Club

We are just under a month away before a whole host of players across Europe will see their contracts at their current teams expire.

Usually, by now, most would have signed pre-contract agreements with another club or, at least, have a good idea where they will be playing their football next season.

However, there are plenty of notable names whose futures look far from certain and we are still none the wiser about who they could end up signing for.

Press the next page as we look at five high profile players who could soon become free agents.

Christian Eriksen

The Danish international only signed a six-month contract at Brentford at the end of January but the playmaker’s excellent form for the Bees means he is a player in demand.

A return to Tottenham has been suggested but, as things stand, there have been no significant developments on his future.

Paulo Dybala

The Juventus forward is leaving the Bianconeri after seven years in Turin and, while talks with plenty of clubs have taken place, we still don’t have a clue about where he will be playing.

Arsenal and Newcastle have been linked, but there is a chance that Dybala could remain in Italy, with Inter Milan thought to be keen on the Argentinian international.

Ousmane Dembele

The 25-year-old has been locked in talks with Barcelona for a number of weeks, but it seems as though the two sides are not close to finding an agreement over a contract extension.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are all potential destinations for Dembele, while a return to France with Paris Saint-Germain can’t be ruled out either.

Paul Pogba

It has now been confirmed that the midfielder will be leaving Manchester United when his contract expires at the end of the month, but a decision on his next club has not been made yet.

Pogba is believed to be weighing up offers from PSG and former club Juventus, with the latter said to be favourites to land his signature currently.

Alexandre Lacazette

The Frenchman, who cost the Gunners £52m, is expected to leave the Emirates after five seasons. There had been some speculation about a potential contract extension but he now looks certain to move on.

A return to France has been raised as a possibility, with Lacazette’s former team Lyon and Marseille both believed to have held talks with the striker.
