The England international is another Saints player with a buyback option, and it seems the South Coast club are not averse to making such agreements to bring in talented players.
Walker-Peters initially moved on loan before joining Southampton from Tottenham on a permanent basis in the summer of 2020.
Despite reported interest from Manchester United and Chelsea, though, Spurs can bring him back to Hotspur Way for £30m at any time.
