Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is West Ham’s number one forward target this summer, according to insider ExWHUemployee.
The England international has been mentioned as just one of a whole host of options that the Hammers were considering to strengthen their frontline but it appears he is now the priority.
Not every supporter on Twitter is convinced that Abraham is the right target, but a majority do think he would be a good fit for David Moyes’s system and style of play:
Be great if we can bring him in fits us perfectly… not been a great fan of him but considering our system it could work out ??⚒

Think he would be a good fit and work well in our system. It Won’t stop the same fans who slated the Lingard deal kicking off about it…… in Moyes I trust COYI ⚒⚒⚒

The people who don’t want Tammy Abraham at the club are the same people who didn’t want us to sign Jesse Lingard. It’s mind boggling.

Its more that he doesn't suit Tuchel's style than not being good enough. He's got plenty to offer and will be a top English player for seasons to come. Needs to work on areas of his game but he will score goals if he's provided the service.

It must be pointed out that Abraham is still Chelsea’s top scorer this season, with 12 goals, despite the fact that he has barely featured since Thomas Tuchel’s arrival as manager at Stamford Bridge.
With that sort of scoring record, and the fact that he will likely be open to moving clubs at the end of the season, it seems like the 23-year-old could be a good addition to the squad.
