‘Finally. Some Good News’ ‘Why Are We Waiting? Get It Done’ West Ham Fans Excited By Latest ExWHUemployee Transfer Claim

West Ham are planning to make a formal approach for Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic “soon”, according to ExWHUemployee.

The insider source was speaking on the West Ham Way podcast when he said that the Hammers could either table a £15m bid or use Felipe Anderson as part of the offer:

“We have enquired about Milenkovic, ideally we would like to take him for £15m and we would certainly encourage any deal that involved Anderson going that way too… Milenkovic is said to welcome the move to West Ham but also has an interest in the other rumoured interested clubs. I expect us to submit a firm offer soon.”

Milenkovic has been linked with a whole host of English clubs in recent months, including Manchester United, Tottenham, Everton and Chelsea, and fans on Twitter are hoping that West Ham don’t drag their heels in trying to sign the Serbian international:

The 23-year-old has one year remaining on his contract at Fiorentina but the Serie A club are thought to be holding out for around €25m (£21.5m). That is slightly higher than what the Irons are said to be prepared to pay but we shall see if a compromise can be reached as and when the two sides start negotiations.
