ExWHUemployee Shuts Down Claims That West Ham Star Could Leave For 60M

West Ham insider ExWHUemployee has refuted a claim made by Watford captain Troy Deeney that the Hammers may consider selling Declan Rice for £60m this summer.

During a radio interview earlier this week, Deeney suggested that the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United could come calling with an offer for the England international if he has a good European Championships.

When a fan asked whether West Ham would indeed accept such an offer for Rice at the end of the season, ExWHUemployee replied:

Supporters will be delighted to hear that the club will not look to sell the 22-year-old for below his market value. Manager David Moyes has previously said he wouldn’t even consider selling the player for under £100m, but whether that was simply an attempt to put off interested clubs, we shall see.

In any case, the Irons should be in a strong position to keep him in the summer, especially if they manage to secure European football.
