talkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara has contrasted the excellent form of West Ham with the poor performances of the three other London clubs; Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham.

While he does have respect for what the Hammers are doing, O’Hara was scathing in his criticism of his former club Spurs and their rivals, who haven’t met expectations this season:

“It’s actually embarrassing, isn’t it? You’re talking about Champions League places, West Ham are flying the flag for London right now. No disrespect to them, you’re talking about Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal. They should be ashamed of themselves! They’re miles off it. The Manchester clubs are running away with it.”

O’Hara, like a lot of pundits on talkSPORT, does tend to hyperbolize when it comes to his opinions on clubs, in order to get a reaction out of supporters. Certainly, West Ham’s London rivals are performing below-par but that shouldn’t diminish the Irons’ achievements.

David Moyes’ side have been superb this campaign and they fully deserve to be sitting fifth in the table after 22 games played. The question is now: can they keep up their form in the remaining 18 games? Their consistency over the last few months suggests they are well equipped to do so.
