West Ham are considering Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah as a potential replacement for Sebastien Haller, according to reports in the English media.
The 21-year-old is said to be one of three names being looked at, along with Bournemouth’s Joshua King and Stade de Reims striker Boulaye Dia, with David Moyes able to fund his purchase from the £20m sale of Haller.
Supporters on Twitter are very much split on whether Nketiah would be a good addition to the squad, with some worried that he may not fit the profile of striker they need up front:
Definitely not the right type.

I like him, from what I have seen, he is a dedicated workhorse who is a great poacher always making the right runs

It is believed that Arsenal may well be more open to selling the England Under 21 international in order to fund their own January transfer plans, rather than allowing him to leave on loan.
Nketiah has 18 months left on his contract at the Emirates so the Gunners could look to offload him this month. How much he would cost, though, it remains to be seen.
