Declan Rice Delivers One Word Response When Asked Tottenham Transfer Question

West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has dismissed the prospect that he could sign for bitter rivals Tottenham.

Former Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure (who is now a coach at Spurs) asked whether he would be open to moving across London and Rice simply replied:

“No!”

Speculation about Rice’s future is likely to increase with the Hammers struggling for form in the Premier League. Their 2-0 home defeat to Leicester on Saturday means they will head into the break for the World Cup in 16th place.

The likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United have been tipped as potential destinations for the England international but he is expected to remain at the London Stadium, at least until the end of the season.

Officially, Rice will have a year left on his contract next summer, but West Ham do have an option to automatically extend his current deal for a further twelve months.
