‘Crouching Tiger, Injured Beast’ ‘Come Back Stronger Big Man’ Crocked West Ham Ace Gets Inspired By Karate Kid As He Steps Up Recovery

West Ham winger Michail Antonio is taking inspiration from the Karate Kid going by his latest injury update on Twitter. The 29-year-old is stepping up his recovery from a torn hamstring by seemingly aping moves from the 1984 movie:

Supporters on Twitter are loving the good humour that the Hammers star is showing despite the blow of being on the sidelines:

Antonio sustained the injury in the opening minutes of the 2-0 win against Newport County in the Carabao Cup back in late August. He was expected to be out for up to four months, with the beginning of January being pencilled in as a potential return date.

However, the forward is said to be determined to make his comeback earlier than expected, and his latest video does show he is making excellent progress. Whether we will see him before the end of the year, we shall have to wait and see.
