Cresswell And Wilshere To Start, Masuaku And Lanzini Dropped: West Ham’s Predicted XI To Face Sheffield United

West Ham will likely make a number of changes after a disappointing display against Everton last weekend. Manuel Pellegrini was not happy with the performance and he’ll want to see his players give a better account of themselves when they face Sheffield United.

Arthur Masuaku performed poorly at Goodison Park, and with Aaron Cresswell expected to recover from a minor groin problem, the 29-year-old will probably get his place back in the starting line up. Pellegrini may well keep faith with the rest of the defence that started last time out.

In midfield, the poor form of Manuel Lanzini and Pablo Fornals could see Jack Wilshere get a chance to impress in a more advanced role ahead of Declan Rice and Mark Noble. Despite being subbed after an ineffectual display against the Toffees, Felipe Anderson is expected to keep his place on the left-wing.

Andriy Yarmolenko is almost guaranteed to return to the starting eleven after being rested, while Sebastien Haller will be hoping for more support this weekend playing as the lone striker.

West Ham’s Predicted XI To Face Sheffield United:
