“Could Even Be Fit For Spurs…” ExWHUEmployee Claims West Ham Have Received Big Injury Boost

Nayef Aguerd’s groin injury is “not as bad as first feared” and he could even play for West Ham against Tottenham this Sunday, according to ExWHUEmployee.

The Moroccan international had to be substituted with ten minutes to go in the 1-1 draw versus Chelsea last weekend but Ex claims scans have provided some good news:

“Aguerd is not as bad as first feared. The scan showed little damage. It is even hoped that he could even be fit for Spurs.”

Aguerd has been in outstanding form since the New Year and his absence for the London derby would have been a big blow for manager David Moyes.

The Hammers already have plenty of other injury problems. With the likes of Lucas Paqueta (shoulder), Gianluca Scamacca (knee), Maxwel Cornet (calf), Aaron Cresswell and Kurt Zouma (thigh) already sidelined, there are also concerns about Pablo Fornals and Declan Rice after they weren’t pictured in training on Wednesday.

One player who has returned to fitness, though, is Alphonse Areola, with the club’s number two goalkeeper having recovered from a hamstring issue.
