“Could Be Enough To Get It Over The Line” West Ham Insider Makes Exciting Claim About New Bid For Chelsea Star

West Ham are back in negotiations to sign Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, according to insider source ExWHUemployee.

The Hammers had an opening bid turned down for the France international earlier this month but Ex claims that a revised offer has been made, which has led to negotiations being restarted:

“On an interesting turn of events, I’m hearing that talks for Zouma had resumed and that the transfer could still be back on. It is thought that West Ham went in with one last offer and that this offer could be enough to get it over the line.”

How this affects West Ham’s move for Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic, it remains to be seen. Reports both in the UK and Italy suggest an agreement is close for the Serbian international.

A deal worth £14m is said to be on the table, but discussions are reportedly still taking place over possible add-ons and agent fees.

Whether the Irons will withdraw their interest in Milenkovic if a deal for Zouma becomes likelier, we shall see, but you can’t rule out the possibility that the club may sign both players.

Out of the four centre-halves in the first-team squad, only one of them is below 30 so perhaps manager David Moyes wants to bring in some younger blood.
