‘Confident This Will Happen Now’ ‘Get It Done, Not Rocket Science’ West Ham Fans Optimistic As Ex Confirms Chelsea Ace’s Transfer Stance

Chelsea striker Armando Broja would prefer a move to West Ham, according to transfer insider ExWHUemployee.

Newcastle and Everton are also believed to be interested in the Albanian international but Ex claims that the player’s preference to remain in London means the Hammers possess a “trump card”:

“He’s got Everton and Newcastle after him, but we are said to be leading the chase because we’ve got the trump card of London as our main selling point now. He started at Tottenham’s academy, moved to Chelsea’s academy and was born in Slough. So he’s a local lad, London is his place and he wants to stay there.”

Of course, a lot depends, not only Broja, but also on Chelsea. They have yet to signal whether they want to sell the forward, but fans on Twitter are increasingly hopeful that an agreement can be reached:

The cost of the transfer (£30m – £35m) seems to be within West Ham’s budget so there shouldn’t be any issues in that regard, but there are likely to be complications when it comes to the contract.

Chelsea are keen to include sell-on and buyback clauses when their academy players are involved, so the Irons will probably have to accept some of the conditions that the Blues propose to get the transfer over the line.
