COMPLETED DEALS: Every Signing Premier League Clubs Have Made This Summer [UPDATED]

Clubs – A to B

Arsenal have made some good progress in reshaping the squad this summer, having spent £73m on three new additions, but it remains to be seen whether that will be enough to strengthen their claims for a top-four finish.

However, Aston Villa have clearly been anticipating Jack Grealish’s departure to Manchester City with deals for Emi Buendia and Leon Bailey, while Brighton, Brentford and Burnley have been pretty quiet on the transfer front.

Chelsea have surprisingly done very little so far but that could all change soon if they do get a deal over the line for Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku. Palace have made some smart purchases but they will need to make a few more to make up for the numbers they lost on free transfers back in June.

Leeds and Leicester have definitely strengthened their squads ahead of the new season, with the latter having snapped up the promising Patson Daka from Red Bull Salzburg, but Everton have been rather frugal by their standards in this transfer window. Liverpool similarly have done nothing since they picked up Ibrahima Konate at the start of the summer.

City are closing in on a deal for Grealish but, at the time of writing, the British record transfer has not been made official. Their Manchester rivals have also been very active, with United having spent £114m on Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane.

Newcastle have done no business whatsoever while, in contrast, Norwich have brought in no less than eight new players ahead of their return to the Premier League.

Watford and West Ham have brought in quite a few players, although most of them have been youngsters. The exception for the Hammers is Alphonse Areola, who has joined on loan from Paris Saint-Germain. Wolves have been busy too as they prepare for life under new head coach Bruno Lage.
