West Ham captain Mark Noble was in imperious form against Southampton at the weekend.
The 31-year-old delivered a pinpoint through ball for Marko Arnautovic to score the opening goal on 16 minutes and has been extremely consistent in recent matches.
Supporters on Twitter think Noble deserves a lot of praise for the Hammers’ recent form:

Top man. Struggled for form early in the season but finished in the form of his life. Everyone said his legs had gone, but while he bleeds claret and blue blood that wont happen. He is the heart and soul of our club .lets hope he continues next season in the same form# irons god

Local players can be a lightning rod for criticism when things are not going well, and Noble has had to endure a fair share of that during his career.
Despite the team having an up and down season, the club’s talisman has been a stable presence in the middle of the park, alongside Declan Rice.
Noble’s service to the club cannot be disputed, having made 466 appearances for West Ham since making his debut all the way back in October 2004.
15 years of service, and after having scored 54 goals and made 58 assists to date, the midfielder is still going strong.
