Amiens president Bernard Joannin has named West Ham and Crystal Palace as two of the teams who are very keen on signing striker Serhou Guirassy.
It is believed the French club have received bids in the region of the €12m (£11m) to €20m (£18m) for the 24-year-old with Joannin confirming that the offers from the Premier League teams are the most attractive ones:
“I cannot tell you currently, you’ll have to ask Serhou on what he wants to do. You can also add Crystal Palace and West Ham to the French interests.”
“At the moment, the most interesting offers come from England, but we don’t want to stand in the way of his career. Up to Serhou’s agents to see what the best option is for him.”
Guirassy has been heavily linked with a switch to the London Stadium over the past few months with the player’s agent even saying that the Frenchman is angling for a move to England.
However, it’s likely any bid for the forward is dependent on the Hammers securing their Premier League status. Manager David Moyes will no doubt be keen on reinforcing his frontline after relying on Michail Antonio with Sebastien Haller out injured. If they do stay in the top flight, it appears a move for Guirassy is very much on the cards.
