Burnley V West Ham – Team News And Predicted XI Plus Betting Odds

Having ten players out injured didn’t affect West Ham’s ability to secure three points against Southampton last night.

An excellent display from Felipe Anderson means Manuel Pellegrini’s side move up to ninth in the table, just five points off sixth place Manchester United.

The Hammers are now in a good run of form, having won five of their last six games heading into the match against Burnley on Sunday. In stark contrast, their opponents will be reeling from a 5-1 home defeat at the hands of Everton.

The London club will be hoping to have at least three players back in the squad for the weekend. Pablo Zabaleta missed the win over the Saints with illness but should be back in contention. Fabian Balbuena (knee) and Javier Hernandez (hamstring) are fighting a race against time to be fit, but one or both could feature.

Marko Arnautovic (hamstring) is nearing a return to full fitness but the game against Burnley may come too early. Andriy Yarmolenko (Achilles), Jack Wilshere (ankle), Winston Reid, Carlos Sanchez, Manuel Lanzini (all knee) and Ryan Fredericks (shin) remain out.

For Sean Dyche’s side, they will be without four players with Robbie Brady (knock) the likeliest to return to the squad. Aaron Lennon (knee), Steven Defour (knee) and Stephen Ward (knee) are all out of contention.

The bookmakers see the Hammers as slight favourites with Unibet having them at 13/10. A draw is 5/2 at BetVictor while a Burnley win is 5/2 at Bet365.

West Ham’s Predicted XI To Face Burnley:

Fabianski, Zabaleta, Ogbonna, Diop, Cresswell, Snodgrass, Noble, Rice, Anderson, Perez, Antonio

Burnley’s Predicted XI:

Hart, Bardsley, Long, Mee, Tarkowski, Taylor, Hendrick, Westwood, Cork, Wood, Barnes

Predicted Score – 3-1 to West Ham
