Burnley V West Ham: Team News And Betting Odds

West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini is a man under pressure after a disastrous run of form that has seen the Hammers slip to thirteenth in the Premier League table.

A trip to Turf Moor isn’t an easy away game at the best of times, and the match against Burnley on Saturday will certainly test the Irons boss’s ability to motivate his players and get a result when he needs it most.

Ahead of the game, West Ham have had some good news on the injury front with Michail Antonio back in training. The 29-year-old will, though, need some time to get back up to match fitness following three months out with a hamstring injury.

The winger won’t feature this weekend but he is likely to make his return against Tottenham after the international break. Jack Wilshere (groin) remains a doubt for the match while Lukasz Fabianski (hip) and Winston Reid (fitness) are still unavailable.

Clarets boss Sean Dyche is sweating over the fitness of striker Chris Wood. The New Zealander has been struggling with a hamstring injury but could return this weekend.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson (hamstring) and Danny Drinkwater (fitness) remain out of first-team contention.

The bookies have made Burnley favourites with William Hill backing them at 13/10 to get the three points. A draw is 13/5 with 888 Sport while a West Ham victory is 23/10 at Betfair.

Predicted Score – 2-0 to Burnley
