Brighton’s Glenn Murray warns team-mates about ‘fantastic’ Marko Arnautovic

Brighton must do everything they can to stop Marko Arnautovic this Friday.

That’s according to Seagulls hitman Glenn Murray.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side travel The AMEX Stadium later this week, where they will be looking to continue their recent run of good form having drawn against Chelsea and beat Manchester United in their last two fixtures.

Brighton on the other hand have failed to win in each of their last six fixtures, leaving them hovering just three points clear of the Premier League’s relegation zone.

And while Murray is hoping his side can turn round their fortunes on Friday night, the Seagulls hitman insists his team-mates must first stop Marko Arnautovic if they are to take anything from the game.

Murray told The Argus: “He’s a fantastic player and he’s shown that at West Ham.

“He almost carried the team at stages last year and he showed what a top quality player he is.

“He’s set off again in the same vein of form that he ended last season. He is the danger man and we’ve got to try to keep a lid on him.”

Arnautovic is West Ham’s top scorer this season having scored four times in all competitions, while Murray also has managed four goals.
