Brighton V West Ham: Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

West Ham know they need a win against Brighton today to keep their chances of an unlikely top-four finish alive. They will be hoping their opponents are on the beach with Fulham’s defeat to Burnley on Monday securing the Seagulls’ safety.

In terms of team news, Declan Rice is a doubt due to a knee injury but he could be fit enough for the bench. Mark Noble (calf) is expected to be in contention, while Aaron Cresswell may also be ready to return from a dead leg. Arthur Masuaku (knee) and Manuel Lanzini (thigh) are both unavailable.

West Ham’s Predicted XI To Face Brighton:

Fabianski, Coufal, Dawson, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Soucek, Lingard, Noble, Fornals, Antonio, Benrahma

Brighton boss Graham Potter has six injury concerns heading into this evening’s fixture. Adam Lallana could return after a calf problem, but Davy Propper (ankle) and Joel Veltman (calf) are unlikely to feature. Solly March (knee), Tariq Lamptey (hamstring) and Florin Andone (hamstring) have all been ruled out. Captain Lewis Dunk and Neal Maupay are both suspended after their red cards against Wolves.

Brighton’s Predicted XI:

Sanchez, Alzate, White, Webster, Burn, Moder, Bissouma, Lallana, Gross, Welbeck, Trossard

The bookies have made West Ham the slight favourites with Betfred pricing them at 11/8 for the win. A draw is 5/2 with Betfair, while a victory for Brighton is 21/10 at William Hill.

Predicted Score – 1-0 to West Ham
