Brighton V West Ham: Match Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

West Ham will be keen to recover quickly from their 5-0 opening day defeat against City when they face Brighton at the Amex on Saturday.

It could be a tricky game for Manuel Pellegrini’s side after the Seagulls scored three goals away from home in their first match against Watford under new manager Graham Potter.

The Irons have just one injury concern heading into the match this weekend. Captain Mark Noble is unlikely to feature due to a dead leg, with Jack Wilshere likely to continue to deputise.

The 27-year-old also picked up a dead leg against City but he has confirmed that he should be fit to play against Brighton. Felipe Anderson has been suffering with a knock but it isn’t expected to keep him out of the starting line up this Saturday.

West Ham’s Predicted XI To Face Brighton:

Fabianski, Fredericks, Balbuena, Diop, Masuaku, Rice, Wilshere, Fornals, Lanzini, Anderson, Haller

Brighton don’t have any new injury concerns for the game. Jose Izquierdo is a long-term absentee with a knee problem, while fullback Ezequiel Schelotto is out with an ACL injury. Yves Bissouma is unlikely to feature due to a shoulder injury.

Brighton’s Predicted XI:

Ryan, Montoya, Webster, Duffy, Dunk, Bernardo, Propper, Stephens, Gross, Maupay, Trossard

The bookmakers have Brighton slight favourites. They are 8/5 to win with Unibet, with a draw 23/10 at Coral. A victory for the Hammers is 2/1 with Betfred.

Predicted Score – 1-1
