West Ham winger Said Benrahma has been consistently selected in the starting lineup by manager David Moyes this season.
The Algerian struggled to get minutes after arriving from Brentford in 2021 but his game time has gradually increased to a point where he is now regarded as a regular starter.
Even so, Benrahma remains a divisive figure among supporters. Following his performance against Liverpool midweek, fans on Twitter were asked whether they rated the player, and there were some contrasting responses:

Sorry. Championship footballer. Greedy with the ball. Should have been substituted last night. Imo.

Brilliant at times on the ball, just no end product

He only plays well when everybody plays bad. When we are really struggling he’s amazing but apart from that he seems to disappear.

Goes missing too often

Amazing as long as he's not shooting, defending, passing or crossing.

It’s fair to say that the 27-year-old isn’t particularly consistent. He is a strong dribbler and he can beat defenders with ease one-on-one. Yet, he often makes the wrong decision in threatening areas of the pitch and his execution can be found wanting.
Nine goals and five assists in 44 appearances this season does demonstrate that Benrahma can deliver an end product but he doesn’t produce the goods as frequently as some would like.
