‘Baller’ ‘Superb Yet Again’ Fans Hail West Ham Ace Following Performance Against Manchester United

West Ham forward Said Benrahma got on the scoresheet once again in the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United yesterday.

The Algerian opened the scoring for the Hammers midway through the first half and, while it didn’t turn out to be enough to earn any points from the match, supporters on Twitter were praising him for his display regardless:

Benrahma’s goal means he has now scored three goals and contributed two assists in only six appearances for West Ham this campaign.

The 26-year-old’s performances are much improved on last season, and some of that is down to manager David Moyes’s decision to play him in more central areas.

Benrahma was usually employed as a left-winger in his first year with the Irons and, while he still managed seven assists in total, he is now getting into more goalscoring positions. It will be interesting to see whether he can keep up this type of form for the rest of the campaign.
