West Ham have now slapped a €100m/£88m price tag on Declan Rice, according to reports in the English media.
There have been various claims made about the Hammers’ valuation of the England international but fans are convinced that the club will receive in excess of £100m for the player next summer:

Rice has remained steadfast in not signing a contract extension and that does complicate matters slightly. His current deal is set to expire in 2024, although West Ham will likely trigger their option to extend it for another year.
However, the fact that the 23-year-old clearly wants to leave does cause problems for West Ham in terms of their negotiating position. Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal will all know that the player is pressing for a transfer and they are unlikely to pay through the nose, considering his contract situation. We shall see how that this transfer story develops in the coming months.
