Arsenal V West Ham: Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

West Ham will return to competitive action for the first time in six weeks when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates on Monday evening.

The Hammers will be coming up against a team that have won all six of their home games this season so it will be a big result if they manage to get any points from this fixture.

In terms of term news, manager David Moyes has revealed that Gianluca Scamacca (ankle) and Michail Antonio (calf) are both doubts for the match. There are also concerns about the fitness of Aaron Cresswell (hamstring) and Maxel Cornet (calf) after neither took part in the friendlies against Udinese and Fulham. Nayef Aguerd (fitness) and Kurt Zouma (knee) are not expected to feature.

West Ham’s Predicted XI To Play Arsenal:

Fabianski, Kehrer, Dawson, Ogbonna, Emerson, Soucek, Paqueta, Rice, Fornals, Bowen, Benrahma

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Emile Smith Rowe (groin), Reiss Nelson (thigh) and Gabriel Jesus (knee) won’t be available for the Boxing Day clash, and there are doubts over William Saliba (fitness), Takehiro Tomiyasu (hamstring) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (muscular).

Arsenal’s Predicted XI:

Ramsdale, Cedric, White, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Odegaard, Xhaka, Saka, Nketiah, Martinelli

The bookies have made the Gunners the favourites with Unibet pricing them at 13/25 for the win. A draw is 10/3 with Betfred while a victory for West Ham is 6/1 at Paddy Power.

Predicted Score – 2-0 to Arsenal
