West Ham are weighing up a move for Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius this summer, according to reports in the Belgian media.
The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Besiktas but he won’t be joining the Turkish club on a permanent basis and will return to Merseyside at the end of the season.
Karius will reportedly be made available for £4.5m, with the Hammers, Anderlecht and Sporting Lisbon all said to be keen on snapping up the keeper. Supporters on Twitter are very much against the move for the German:
Confidence has totally gone. Will never get back to previous form another Joe Hart

Not sure how this clown is an improvement on either Randolph or Martin for backup and he certainly ain’t gonna challenge Fabianski for the starting spot

No thanks

Better not!!!! Seriously @WestHam you are doing some serious things to convince me NOT to renew next season (if it ever happens lol)

Don’t need him. We have 3 good gks plus we have trott and anang in the u23.. best off in investing these 2 young goalies rather than sign a gk whose confidence is shot

Fabianski and Randolph are both better than him ⚒️

Karius made some very high profile errors for Liverpool during his time at Anfield, most notably in the 2018 Champions League final, but he has also made a series of mistakes during his time at Besiktas.
You would have thought that West Ham’s recent experience with Roberto would have put them off bringing in a cut-price keeper, but we shall have to wait and see if there is any substance to this rumour.
