Anderson To Start And Fornals to Drop Out: West Ham’s Predicted Line Up To Face Arsenal

West Ham’s win against Charlton in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night will certainly have boosted morale following the abject home defeat to Newcastle on the opening day.

Hammers boss David Moyes will be hoping the victory will give them some sort of momentum heading into the clash against Arsenal tomorrow. The Gunners were comfortable winners against newly-promoted Fulham last time out so getting a point at the Emirates will be deemed a good result.

In terms of the team, Lukasz Fabianski will likely keep his place in goal from the defeat to the Magpies, along with the backline of Ryan Fredericks, Issa Diop, Angelo Ogbonna and Aaron Cresswell.

The midfield triumvirate of Tomas Soucek, Declan Rice and Mark Noble are expected to be recalled after being rested for the Charlton game. There will, though, be more decisions to make up front.

Felipe Anderson got a goal midweek and Moyes may well consider starting the Brazilian ahead of Pablo Fornals. Andriy Yarmolenko also made the case for himself starting on the opposite flank but Jarrod Bowen is likely to keep his place.

Sebastien Haller’s brace on Tuesday will have given Moyes pause for thought but Michail Antonio is almost certain to be given the nod ahead of the Frenchman, especially away from home.

West Ham’s Predicted XI To Face Arsenal:

Fabianski, Fredericks, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Bowen, Soucek, Rice, Noble, Anderson, Antonio
