Amidst rumours of a mass exodus, could West Ham line-up like this next season?

West Ham United are set for big changes this summer.

Amidst the ongoing trouble with the board and the supporters, a number of reports suggest that as many as seven players could leave the club this summer in search of pastures new.

Amongst those likely to leave the club are veteran defender James Collins, midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate – who has been verbal with his unhappiness at the club in recent months – and on-loan keeper Joe Hart, whose move from Manchester City has done little to rebuild his reputation.

Joao Mario is also expected to return to Inter Milan with the Hammers measly bid of £12 million being rejected by the Serie A side, while Reece Oxford is too set to extend his stay in Germany with Borussia Monchengladbach.

Add into that mixture the players that left in January – Andre Ayew, Robert Snodgrass and Diafra Sakho – and the outlook is bleak for the Hammers.

However after the recent backlash over the club’s lack of spending in the transfer window, the powers that be at the London Stadium have promised for more this summer. (should they avoid relegation of course).

A host of huge names, both young and veteran, have been linked with a move to the Hammers in the upcoming transfer window, including both Mario Balotelli and Leander Dendoncker, both of whom are reportedly eyeing moves, or a return in the former’s case, to the Premier League.

Will it happen? Who knows. But what a line-up this would be if Sullivan and co. were to finally to open their chequebook this summer …
