Alan Shearer Delivers Moyes Sack Verdict After “Very Worrying” Defeat To Brighton

West Ham manager David Moyes is in “real danger” of being sacked after the humiliating 4-0 loss to Brighton on Saturday, according to Alan Shearer.

The Newcastle legend claims that the performance at the Amex was extremely poor and Moyes’s future at the London Stadium is very much in doubt:

“Not looking very good for David Moyes. From his position, it’s very worrying. The marking from West Ham was atrocious and Moyes is in real danger.”

After the 4-0 victory over Nottingham Forest last weekend and the positive performance in the defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup midweek, there was some hope that the Hammers had turned a corner.

However, as captain Declan Rice frankly admitted after the match, they were played off the park by the Seagulls at the Amex.

West Ham owner David Sullivan has reaffirmed that he still has faith in Moyes but it remains to be seen how long that lasts. The Irons take on AEK Larnaca in the Europa Conference League this Thursday. A victory in Cyprus is a must to ease the pressure on the manager.
