Agent States Anderson “Will Not Return” To Lazio But 13.5m Rated West Ham Teammate Could Be A Target

FIFA accredited agent Vincenzo Morabito says he is convinced that Lazio are not interested in re-signing Felipe Anderson this summer.

The Serie A side and Arsenal have been linked with a move for the Brazilian, who will reportedly be sold if a club offers £27m for the player. However, Morabito told Noibiancocelesti.com that the 27-year-old is not going back to Italy:

“Moyes gives space to more practical players. While Felipe will not return because the Lazio leaders do not like returning horses.”

Morabito does suggest, though, Lazio may well be interested in one of Anderson’s teammates. Manuel Lanzini could also be sold and Morabito suggests the Argentine could move for just €15m (£13.5m):

“Lanzini, who comes from an injury, was valued at 50 million two summers ago. He is a phenomenal player, able to emulate David Silva, and [he could cost] 15 million.”

Whether Morabito has any insider knowledge or is merely speculating, we shall have to wait and see. Other reports in recent days have suggested that Anderson is keen on leaving the London Stadium as he fears being frozen out by manager David Moyes.

Even so, as things stand, it doesn’t look as though there are many clubs interested in snapping up the playmaker.
