‘A Typical Sullivan Signing’ ‘Stop Gap At Best!’ West Ham Fans Sceptical About Bid For France International

West Ham have made a bid for Roma midfielder Steven Nzonzi, according to RMC Sport. The French radio station says that the Serie A side have received “a good offer” from the Hammers.

The 31-year-old was on loan at Galatasaray for the first half of the campaign but after a falling out with manager Fatih Terim, the decision was made to end his time early in Turkey.

Fans on Twitter don’t believe Nzonzi is the solution to their problems in midfield:

Nzonzi is believed to be holding out for a club in the Champions League but after a disappointing spell at Galatasaray, it is unlikely that he’ll have that many offers on the table.

It was thought that West Ham were looking to sign younger players during the January transfer window but it appears that they have made an exception for the France international, with the former Arsenal target having experience of playing in the Premier League with both Blackburn and Stoke.
