“A Real Handful” Le Tissier Praises West Ham Star After Starring In Win Against Watford

TV pundit Matthew Le Tissier believes West Ham supporters will take to Sebastien Haller very quickly after the Frenchman scored twice in the 3-1 victory against Watford yesterday.

The 25-year-old put away a tap in from close range to put the Hammers 2-1 up in the second half and then scored with a well-executed second to secure the three points for the away side. Le Tissier thinks Haller could prove to be a decent buy:

“He was a real handful you know.  He made a good opportunity for himself in the first-half, good acrobatics, he scored with an overhead kick but he had one in the first-half where he didn’t go for the traditional overhead kick but he went for a backheel one and he got it on target but the keeper saved it.  But yeah, the West Ham fans will take to him pretty quick.”

After shelling out a club record £45m on the player, West Ham fans will be hoping to see similar performances from Haller as the season goes on.

There will no doubt be some difficult games for the striker as he adapts to the Premier League but the early signs are good that he can lead the line for the Irons and contribute the type of goals that can fire the London club into the top half this campaign.
