West Ham attacking midfielder Manuel Lanzini is closing in on a new deal which could double his current salary, according to Football.London.
The Argentinian international has just ten months remaining on his contract at the London Stadium, but the Hammers do have an option to extend for a further two years.
However, it appears the London club want a longer-term commitment. Supporters on Twitter are happy to see that progress is being made in regards to Lanzini’s future at West Ham:

The Argentine was in discussions over a new contract before he sustained an ACL injury in the summer of 2018, but the club pulled out of negotiations to see how his recovery progressed.
After returning to the first team at the back end of last season, talks were reopened and it appears that a breakthrough has been made with the Irons expecting to announce the new deal within the next two weeks.
