West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has only been dispossessed once in 900 minutes of Premier League football so far this campaign.
Whoscored.com shared the outrageous stat on Twitter yesterday and fans responded by praising the 22-year-old’s fantastic start to the season:
That’s just sick.

Love it that former Man U ‘greats’ say he’s not good enough for Man U.
We keep him longer.— NobbyNobbs (@NobbyNobbs1970) November 1, 2021
But let’s not forget he is bang average apparently 😂😂

I’ve been watching us since 1970 and I think he is the closest to Sir Bobby I’ve seen. Took me a while but I can see him captaining England to a world cup. Can we hold on? Maybe not but great while it lasts.

When manager David Moyes says Rice is worth more than £100m, you better believe it. The likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea will have to put up some serious money for the Hammers to even consider offloading the England international.
There are, of course, some concerns that the midfielder has still refused to sign a contract extension but West Ham are sitting pretty due to the fact that his current deal expires in 2024 and they have an option to extend for a further year.
Supporters should certainly not worry about Rice’s future and simply enjoy the fantastic football he is producing for the Irons as he helps his team hit new heights in the Premier League.
