West Ham did not play at all well for large parts of the 2-2 draw against Brighton last night.
The Hammers defended very poorly for both of the Seagulls’ goals, and they had Marko Arnautovic to thank once again for digging them out of a hole.
Fans loved the Austrian international’s performance and are hoping he stays at the club:

if only there were 11 players as angry and passionate as this man, then @WestHamUtd wouldn’t lose easy points every single home game !

Arnautovic has only recently recovered from a hamstring injury which has kept him out of the side for the last few weeks.
However, his quickfire brace to pull it back to two apiece midway through the second half gave a telling reminder to supporters of what they had been missing; not that they needed reminding.
Arnautovic has seven goals for West Ham this season, one behind the club’s leading scorer Felipe Anderson with eight. The player has been linked to the likes of Chelsea, Everton and Manchester United with his brother and agent having recently spoken about the striker’s future.
