£27m Rated West Ham Target Set To Have Crunch Talks Over Potential Exit

Real Betis defender Aissa Mandi is expected to hold make or break talks with his club about his future, according to Diario de Sevilla.

There were reports earlier this month that West Ham, Newcastle and Lyon were all keeping tabs on the Algerian international’s situation with the player set to demand an increase in his salary.

Mandi’s current deal expires at the end of next season, so if a new contract can’t be agreed, Betis are almost certain to offload him when the next transfer window opens.

The 28-year-old currently has a €30m (£27m) release clause but he is likely to be sold for a lot less due to his current situation.

Diario de Sevilla also suggest that Mandi’s likeliest destination, Ligue One, is now unlikely to be an option due to the financial impact of the global health crisis so the Hammers and Newcastle are expected to be in pole position for his signature.
